Sorry I didn't make it through the whole parade! I really tried. It
really hurt to breathe, so I just walked out and found a band parent.
For anyone who cares what happened after that: I went home when we got
back to school, and my breathing just got worse. My parents took me to
the hospital around 6:30, where the doctors told me that I have
pneumonia. So now I have to use an inhaler, I can't eat dairy products,
and I can't play in band for three days (I'll be playing by Thursday).
So that's my big explanation.
Someone please tell me when the first pep band rehearsal is! It's
driving me crazy, and I keep forgeting to ask Olson or Kolles.

Sorry guys i wont be able to do the halloween parade on saturday, a
spranged my ankle, or twisted it or something like that yesterday. it
was kinda stupid really, i was at the orchestra concert to do the live
listening thing, CB folks know what im talking about, and i got up to go
talk to some people (before it started of course, i dont wanna be rude
now), and i went to go sit down and i wasnt paying attention to where
the step was and kinda tumbled forward and twisted it. it was ok last
night, but now its killing me and i can barely make it out of my room to
go to the bathroom. wos longest post ever, neways, i will do my best to
make it to the game, i dont wanna miss the costume competition thing,
have fun during the parade and hopefully ill see everyone there! peace

answer to Nancy's parade route question...it starts near the American
Legion on West Main, goes over bridge to about 5th East Main and turns
south to Fred Moore, ending juust past the school. Best place to sit,
like any parade is any good spot you can find. I like to be by a good
food smell (there are lotza vendors) near the end on E. Main so I can
get out of Anoka quickly afterward.

hey guys. great job at ankeny. thanx for making this weekend the best
weekend for the seniors. i know i can sleep from now on knowing that we
gave it our all. on a heavier note, after we all came back from iowa
today, i was watching clips and images of the chippewa falls accident.
remember to keep these guys in your hearts. they may be 4 hours away,
but in a way, we as a band community should always stick together and
never leave anyone behind. count on the leadership team and boosters,
along with kolles to come up with a way to send our condolences to

Hello all my band friends! Ankeny was the best MB trip I have ever been
on, including the time when the bus hit a pheasant. Does anyone else
remember that? It was the 2003 season.
Anyway, after our performance, I was crying, but then I saw Aaron smile,

hey guys. thanx for a last in-season outdoor rehearsal. i know the
football team has been doing great and it might lead us back to outside
rehearsala, but those rehearsals won't have that special zing in it that
the competition rehearsals do. do one up for the seniors, especially
the 4-year vets. i know that we want this really bad. some of you may
know this, but the seniors who have committed their whole fall life to
this organization have witnessed sooo may changes, from staff additions
to different marching styles (our freshmen year was totally different

I cant't wait to go to be a marching bengal night i hope it's better
then the coon rapids thing last year. I s the freshman tailgaiting party

mac and cheese pop tarts sounds absolutely disgusting. i hope it doesnt
thunderstorm during practice, i hate gong into the auditorium soaking
wet cuz the lights in there just barbecue you. lets have a good practice

It's so important to go OUT of your way to be friendly and enthusiastic
with the 8th graders. Remember, you were there once too and remember how
it was....the idea is show them how much FUN Marching Band is!!!!. So,
show them a good time. It'll pay off in the years to come.

hey,
in home sick today. tear!! lol. this year is gone by really fast. it
kinda suxs. our show is awsome. thanks to the instructiors for kicking
us in the butt when we needed it!! lol. and that means alumni staff and
drum majors and section leaders. you all rock. lol. we r going to rock
at "be a marching bengal night". EVERY ONE BE NICE TO THE 8TH GRADERS!!!
talk to them. cuz nobody talked to me last year when i came and it was
really boring. lol. wow i had alot to say. lol. keep it up Blaine. WHEN
U SEE A BAND BOOSTER SAY THANKS FOR EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE THIS
SEASON FOR US!!!!!! well that's all from my mind.
