Hey band!
Your show this year is great. i wish i could have been a part of it but
my schedual just wouldn't allow it this year. i hope you keep improving
and show those other schools that we can be #1 again!! i have the
confidence that you can do it. (i think i learned it from Aaron, the
vets know what i mean) remember to play loud and to have fun. it may be
hard work but it all pays off in the end. I love you all. Good Luck this
year and lets bring home some First Place trophies this year ok? For all
those who aren't with the Marching Bengals anymore. Do it for us!!!!!

Wow!
I am so proud of the Band and Color Guard this year....you guys are
doing awesome!!

i love astro turf. it shows if you dont march correclty, because if you
mess up, youll fall flat on your face, but if your doing it correctly,
you can just glide across it with ease.

i loved the astro turf!!!!! its so like...squishy and fun!! lol so yeah,
what was with the classes at irondale??? i didnt understand them...like
coon rapids was in class AAA....does this make sense to anyone???

I'll identify meself as not currently a mb member but currently a blaine
band fan. So I went to show someone Robert's guest book but I see it's
back to normal. Oh well. What do you gotta do to get guestbook
dedication? You guys looked real good at Irondale. I don't quite get
what the judges see but from the stands I think your band is a whole

great job at the irondale show guys, i know we only got the
"participation award" but i say forget the judges, they are idiots
anyway...we could have done better at eastview, but no use crying over
spilt milk(or fallen jordan) so just leave it behind at do well the next
few shows, peace out.

Marching Bengals--
What a nice surprise it was to find out that you have a web site (and,
for that matter, a relatively interesting guest book...). Through the
reports I've been receiving from Mr. Kolles, it appears as though you
are having an excellent year. It was also great to hear the audio clips
of the Dist. 11 show, although I would venture to say you have improved
drastically since then. Hope all is well with those who know me (vets)
and those who don't (rooks). Have a great rest of the season, and keep
working your tails off to become better every time you step on the
field. It will all pay off in the end. Best of luck to you all. Oh, and
don't forget to play loud. That's always fun, too.

to tell them to call their sections, and tell them there was no rehersal.
but almost half of them didnt pick up. foolish sleeping people. at
freeking 11...yeah, i know i do it to but anyway, everyone mentally

wow there was a tornado about a mile and a half from my house and you

Congrats on the shows this weekend- you guys impressed a lot of people
with how you've stepped it up over the years and over this season; I'm
incredibly proud of you and feel privileged to work with such fine young
people. I'm starting to see the fire in your eyes and the desire to
achieve great things by raising the bar in performance. You all are
champions!
Some of the things the judges said were that our horn moves were placed
and executed very well, the percussion is at the highest level of
playing this judge had seen with the group, the soloists were great, and
above all, they acknowledged that this may be the best Blaine marching
band ever!
Special thanks to our great leader, Mr. Kolles, all of the incredible
additions to our staff the last couple years, and to the wonderful,
supportive parents that keep us put together!

heyheyheyheyhey i knew how to play that thing in al la lune with the low
brass thing and just because we got yelled at it twice for being late on
it Matt got mad and told me and zach and him self (well of course) not

First off i would like to say I am in band.
Ok now for my input. I do think things need to change. Change for the
better. Every one needs to know there parts! On Thursday i saw the
trombones get yelled at for something they know (or at least Matt does)
and every one else didnt. Poeple also need to get in step. Our score
would sky rocket if every one was in step. If you look at great bands
like Andover and Grand Rapids. Lastly we need more help from every one
involved with marching band (parents, alumni, students, etc.)
