The Marching Band program at Blaine High
School is part of a comprehensive music
program including four concert bands,
two jazz bands, orchestra, pep band,
Winter Drum line, and various other
ensembles.
The
musicians you see before you rehearse
entirely outside of the school day and
comprise one of the largest extra-curricular
activities at Blaine High School.
Most recently, the Blaine High School
Marching Bengals were selected to
perform in the 96th annual
National Cherry Blossom Festival in
Washington, D.C. 2007.
The Blaine High School Marching Bengals
are under the direction of Sarah Henning and
Matt Shervey, with additional
instruction by Tim Hauser, Matt Mann,
Shane Nelson, and Mike Zondervan.
The Blaine High School Marching Bengals
would like to give a special thank you
to the Band Boosters, Shawn Kolles,
Bruce Olson, Ed Schaefle, the Blaine
High School Administration, the Alumni
staff, and the parents for all their
help and support throughout the season

About the
Bands: |

The Marching Bengals are part
of a comprehensive music program which

competitive organization and its staff holds
very high expectations for your success.

Recycling Program to help raise funds
for our organization. This program collects
ink jet cartridges and laser toner
cartridges while it raises funds for the
band.

Congratulations Rachel Miller!
Rachel has
been selected by Bands of America
for the national Honor Band performing
in the 2009 Tournament of Roses® Parade
in Pasadena CA on New Years Day.
The BOA Honor Band is a 300 piece
national ensemble with winds, percussion
and a flag and dance team. Bands
of America is a program of Music for
All, one of the nation's largest and
most influential organizations in
support of active music making.
The 2009 band is only the second BOA
national marching honor band, the first
appearing in the 2005 Rose Parade®, in
which Ashley Norskog (class of 2007)
represented Blaine in the nationally
televised parade..
