Sounds of Pride '07

Please join us at the 6th Annual Sounds of Pride Invitational Field Show Competition, to be held Saturday, October 6, 2007.  The Sounds of Pride will begin at 12:00PM with the Tri State Judges Association judging the event.

Featured bands are Hastings, Winona Cotter, Rocori, Coon Rapids, and Champlin Park.  Blaine High School will conclude the program with an exhibition performance of their show “Break Out!” which includes selections from Cirque du Soleil’s “Quidam”.

Tickets are available the day of the show at the entrance to the football field.  Prices are $7.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and students, and children under six are free.

The Sounds of Pride is divided into three classes by both school and band size.  Awards will be presented for all placements in each class.  In addition, caption awards will be presented in each class to outstanding percussion, color guard, winds, and drum majors.

NEW THIS YEAR: The Blaine Marching Bengals have teamed up with the Champlin Park Marching Rebels to form the "Pride in the Park” competition.  A traveling trophy will be presented to the band earning the highest combined score of the Sounds of Pride and the Rebel Classic field shows.
